Site Plant Operative
Rock Solid Processing Ltd are market leaders in the recovery and recycling of metals and aggregates produced from Waste to Energy Plant Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA) throughout Europe.
We require an Operative for our Cowdenbeath, site on a full time basis.
You work within the Installation team, who as part of our production process sort the different metals and keep the installation clean and maintained.
Duties Include:
- Being able to work within a team oriented environment
- To have a practical mindset and strong work ethic
- To be motivated and willing to learn
- To sorting various minerals/raw materials such as aluminium, stainless steel and copper
- To clean spills on and around the installation
- Able to monitor the production process and in the event of a malfunction or obstruction, inform the team leader
- Help clean and maintain the installation as required during day and at end of production
- To be flexible, multi skilled, able to work alongside colleagues and share tasks
- Available to work at our other sites as/when required
- Able to report malfunctions or unsafe situations to the team leader
- Comply with set Health and Safety Regulations
This role would suit someone who enjoys an industrial or outdoor environment, has a practical and mechanical mindset and likes being part of a team. Full training provided. Own transport essential.

Salary: Β£31,724 plus bonus currently set at Β£3,220 pa* based on 48 hour week
Hours: Full time Monday - Friday (occasional Saturday)
