ABOUT THE TEAM

The Reconciliations team is responsible for reconciling member, bank, and third-party transactions against internal records, identifying discrepancies, and reporting them to the relevant stakeholders across the UK, India, and EU markets. The team works closely with multiple internal and external partners to investigate and resolve breaks while also driving initiatives to enhance and automate reconciliation processes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Completion of BAU activities within the required SLA’s
  • Executing ad-hoc tasks with guidance from management
  • Seeks to understand day-to-day problems or issues as they arise to gain a deeper understanding and knowledge within Reconciliations
  • Actively seeks help when needed & embraces guidance and feedback
  • Takes initiative to improve processes where possible with guidance from management
  • Able to pick up new Reconciliations use-cases and seeks to understand payment flows and best practices
  • Spotting patterns is second nature to you, and you’re always ready to highlight areas that can be improved
  • Getting to grips with tough banking challenges like unfamiliar transactions, missing payments, and direct debits in different countries & currencies
  • Have an investigative mind, who looks to solve reconciliation breaks and future-proof Tide Reconciliations for success
  • Enjoy getting involved in various projects as we continue to build our function

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 1 to 4 years of Reconciliation experience in FinTech/Payment Gateways/Financial services industry
  • Hands-on experience in PPI / wallet / card network reconciliations
  • Experience in a high-volume Reconciliations environment
  • Payments/operations knowledge within the India, UK & EU
  • Confident in working closely with other teams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Curious mind and problem-solving capability
  • Organised, detail-oriented, diligent and have excellent time-management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving company where priorities can change and processes may need to be created from scratch
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Passion for problem-solving and finding solutions to difficult situations

OUR TECH STACK

You don’t have to excel in all, but willing to learn them:

  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, handling large datasets)
  • AutoRek or another Reconciliation tool
  • Familiar with Google applications e.g. G-Drive, G-sheets, G-meet etc.
