We are looking for a Business Finance Specialist to join our new Sales Team dedicated to providing best in class card acquiring and revenue based financing solutions to our small business customers. You’ll be helping customers with selecting the right point of sale (POS) device for their business and understanding their financing requirements to identify the best revenue based finance solution for them.
Through effective conversations, you’ll be taking the time to understand about the businesses you engage with and understanding customers’ finance needs and effectively matching them to the best product and lender that meets their need.
Some Of The Things You’ll Be Doing:
- Contact, engage and manage our Small Business customers through their application process, from application to activation.
- Understand their card acquiring needs, their current and future card revenues to find the best solution for their requirements.
- Become confident in articulating the Tide and Funding Options propositions and services; focused on our card acquiring (point of sale) and revenue based finance propositions.
- Outbound calling of prospect customers.
- Working closely with our Lead Generation and marketing teams, including providing feedback and advice where appropriate.
- Building on your knowledge of business finance, and gaining an in-depth understanding of the wide variety of lenders and products in the market.
- Confidently articulating the revenue based finance options available to customers as well as the different point of sale (POS) options we offer.
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date information on any prospects that you speak with (in Salesforce).
- Monitoring and identifying trends whilst adding new or enhanced customer profile information into Salesforce.
- Keeping up to date on industry trends, market & competition.
- Actively sharing stories and successes to the wider organisation through relevant comms channels.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Ideally you have some experience of either card acquiring, POS devices or commercial finance or at least 12 months experience in a customer facing sales role.
- You will be able to demonstrate a track record of successfully meeting and exceeding revenue based targets.
- You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You will be able to demonstrate a results-oriented work ethic with impeccable attention to detail, determination and drive.
- You’ll be obsessive about delivering the highest level of customer service.
- You will be extremely well organised and analytical and work well under pressure.
