ABOUT THE ROLE
As a B2B Field Sales Executive you will be doing:
- Proactively engage small and medium-sized business owners in person to promote Tide’s card reader solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities through walk-ins, referrals, and local prospecting.
- Clearly explain product benefits, demonstrate the card reader device, and handle objections to successfully close sales.
- Assist prospects through the signup process, working closely with the KYC team to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Follow up on marketing and referral-generated leads to maximize conversion rates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing members, identifying upselling opportunities for other Tide products and services.
- Collaborate with internal Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align on campaigns, product features, and updates.
- Represent Tide in your designated region by visiting high streets, trade zones, and small business communities.
- Support partner locations and merchant sites during the onboarding of new members.
- Work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, to accommodate business owners’ schedules.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Tide is seeking a B2B Field Sales Executive, that is entrepreneurial, target-driven, and passionate about helping small businesses succeed. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven face-to-face B2B or field sales experience, ideally in payments, card readers, POS systems, or financial products
- Target-driven, proactive mindset with a strong motivation for performance and commission
- Confident and articulate communication skills in both spoken and written English
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present products and close deals in person
- Comfortable with cold outreach, including door-to-door engagement and rapid rapport-building
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and self-motivation to independently manage schedules and territories
- Tech-savviness, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Full UK driving licence (preferred) and willingness to travel regularly
- High energy, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting small businesses
