We are seeking an entrepreneurial, visionary VP of Wealth Services to define and scale Tide’s end to end wealth proposition. You will be the business, commercial, and product owner for the division, holding full P&L accountability and shaping the strategic roadmap that accelerates deposit growth, expands AUM, and delivers a best-in-class wealth experience for SMEs.

Partnering with the dedicated VP of Engineering for the domain, you will lead product management, commercial operations, and go to market functions for Wealth Services. You will build the team, drive innovation, ensure regulatory robustness, and unlock international opportunities — all while delivering a seamless, trusted member experience.

As VP of Wealth Services responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership & P&L Ownership: Define the long-term vision, strategy, and operating model for Wealth Services across savings, deposits, investments, and future adjacent offerings. Own full P&L accountability, driving growth in deposits, AUM, revenue, and profitability. Balance short term commercial impact with long term scalability, compliance, and member value. Build, mentor, and lead a high performing, multidisciplinary team spanning product, commercial, operations, and go to market roles. Scale the organisation from early-stage foundations to a world-class 50+ person division over time. Foster a culture of innovation, data driven decision making, accountability, and customer centricity. Lead the full product lifecycle across multiple channels (app, web, partner integrations), from concept to launch to optimisation. Expand Tide’s wealth product suite, including savings accounts, deposit products, investment wrappers, cash management tools, and partner-led investment offerings. Ensure robust regulatory and compliance frameworks underpin every release, in collaboration with legal, risk, and compliance teams.
  • Commercial & Go to Market Ownership: Develop and execute comprehensive go to market, pricing, and monetisation strategies for all wealth products. Drive customer acquisition, deposits growth, engagement, retention, and cross sell effectiveness. Oversee strategic partnerships with banking, investment, and infrastructure providers.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish and scale efficient processes for onboarding, servicing, reconciliations, risk management, treasury interactions, and customer support. Ensure world class reliability and customer experience across all wealth journeys.
  • International Expansion: Lead Wealth Services’ expansion into new regions, tailoring products and partnerships to local regulatory and market needs (initial focus: India, Europe, UK). Build localisation and compliance strategies to support scalable international growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering leadership to align commercial and technical roadmaps. Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Risk, Legal, Member Support, and central Product & Engineering teams to execute the division’s strategy end to end. Influence executive stakeholders and represent Wealth Services in senior leadership forums.
  • Data Driven Decision Making: Use analytics, segmentation, experiments (A/B, MVT), and forecasting to inform priorities and optimise performance. Monitor and manage key commercial and product metrics (deposits, activation, AUM, retention, product NPS, cost-to-serve). Maintain deep understanding of SME financial behaviour, market competitors, regulatory changes, and emerging wealth technologies. Translate insights into differentiated solutions that deliver long term value to members.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven leadership track record in high growth organisations, ideally within fintech, banking, or wealth management.
  • Deep domain expertise in savings, deposits, treasury linked products, or investment solutions — with a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to translate deep investment experience into simple products for MSME.
  • Demonstrable experience scaling a product or business line, ideally with full P&L ownership and commercial accountability.
  • Strong product leadership skills, having overseen end to end delivery across discovery, build, launch, and optimisation.
  • Commercially astute, with experience defining pricing, modelling economics, structuring partnerships, and driving sustainable revenue growth.
  • Exceptional leadership and team building ability, with a history of growing and mentoring high performing teams.
  • Highly analytical, adept at using data to guide prioritisation, experimentation, and commercial decision making.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence at all levels.
  • Innovative and customer obsessed, with a bias for execution and continuous improvement.
  • Resilient and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic, fast scaling environment.
