The Treasury team acts as 1st LoD and is at the forefront of driving financial excellence and supporting strategic growth. The Treasury team mission is to optimise the company's financial resources and investment, manage financial risks, ensure robust liquidity and effective cash management and comprehensive treasury operations. Moreover the team collaborates closely with the product and business team to align financial strategies with business objectives. By contributing to impactful financial decisions, the Treasury team aims to enable sustainable success and growth.

As the Lead, Liquidity, Forecasting & Risk you will play a crucial role in the team in leading Tide’s liquidity management, forecasting and general financial risk management activities, ensuring the business has robust liquidity and capital forecasting and scalable forecasting models across a complex multi entity, multi currency organisation, supplemented by financial risk management strategies that additionally effectively support future growth. The role will lead Treasury’s forward looking planning capability, partnering closely with Finance, Product, Lending and Treasury Operations to support strategic decision making and overall financial risk management, whilst ensuring Treasury is well positioned to support the company’s evolving business model.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Treasury planning
    • Own Treasury forecasting framework, including medium and long term liquidity and capital forecasts;
    • Develop and maintain Treasury planning assumptions and forecasting methodologies;
    • Provide forward looking analysis to support business growth, new products and strategic initiatives;
    • Lead Treasury scenario planning and design stress testing methodologies.
  • Liquidity and Capital Management
    • Own liquidity and capital management activities and decisions across multiple entities, currencies, and business lines.
    • Optimise capital and liquidity usage and drive strategic initiatives in line with the company growth models.
    • Partner with FP&A and Risk to build resilient capital structures that support regulatory and operational needs.
    • Provide recommendations on liquidity buffers and funding requirements;
    • Own the monthly and quarterly Treasury MI pack;
    • Support strategic decision making through scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling.
    • Monitor, assess and manage FX and interest rate exposures across a multi-currency ecosystem.
    • Implement and oversee hedging strategies and policies in line with fintech-specific risk profiles.
    • Liaise with banking and trading partners to optimise execution and reporting.
  • Business partnering
    • Partner with Finance, Product, Lending and Commercial teams to assess Treasury impacts of new initiatives.
    • Support execution decision making through insightful Treasury analysis.
    • Represent Treasury on cross functional projects.
  • Leadership
    • Lead and develop Treasury planning capabilities;
    • Coach and mentor Treasury analysts;
    • Deputise for Group Treasurer when required.

Tide is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead of Liquidity, Forecasting & Risk. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in Treasury, within liquidity and capital management, including forecasting/planning.
  • Prior experience in financial services – preferably in technology-driven & scale-up environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cash forecasting, capital management, general financial risk management and related regulatory requirements.
  • Self-starter, independent and extreme ownership mentality.
  • Experience overseeing controls and mitigating financial risks.
  • Experience utilising BI reporting tools (Looker/Power BI/Tableau etc) is desirable.
  • Experience working within a dynamic and strong paced environment.
  • Experience in managing and leading Treasury teams across multiple locations and countries.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
