Chief Compliance Officer Summary
The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) provides strategic leadership and oversight of TidalHealth’s compliance programme, ensuring adherence to all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Reporting to the Vice President and General Counsel, the CCO promotes a culture of integrity while proactively identifying and mitigating regulatory and operational risk. This role partners with executive and clinical leadership to ensure effective governance, regulatory compliance, education, monitoring, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Chief Compliance Officer Requirements
- Education: Master’s Degree in Healthcare/Nursing/Business Administration or Organizational Development required.
- License and/or certification: Certified as a CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) is required within one year from date of hire or transfer into role. CHPC (Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance) or CCEP (Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is preferred.
- Experience: At least ten (10) years of progressive healthcare management experience up to the Senior Director leadership level.
Chief Compliance Officer Schedule
Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday. Evenings and weekends may be required as needed.
Chief Compliance Officer Benefits
At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits. Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance plans, life insurance, paid leave.
