We are looking for a full time Senior Data Analyst to join TickX at what is an exciting time in the growth of the business. The role is a 12-month maternity cover position within the newly formed BI & Data team. This role is ideal for an aspiring leader within the data & analytics space, aiming to deliver meaningful business value for our partners through proactive analysis projects & driving a data-first culture within TickX.

The role has several key areas of focus:

  • Supporting account management with ad hoc pieces of analysis investigating client health, partner performance and the impact of TickX on their financial performance.
  • Leading the business on opportunities within the data through proactively highlighting where clients can gain more value and revenue.
  • Supporting finance & commercial roles through creation & maintenance of reporting suite based in PowerBI, including building custom pipelines from our PostgreSQL db and other 3rd party sources.
  • Supporting Customer Success teams through providing insights about live clients & demonstrating the value of partnering with TickX through data.
  • Supporting & mentoring junior members of the BI team.

Responsibilities & Skills

  • Proactive exploratory analysis that provides demonstrable incremental revenue to our clients.
  • Able to leverage advanced data analytics skills & techniques when appropriate and effectively communicate the logic & output to non-technical business personas.
  • Expert in Conversion Rate Optimisation & identifying opportunities within ecommerce websites, justifying these through data.
  • Understand and communicate how our B2B and B2B2C customers are using digital products.
  • Confident presenter & communicator, with strong experience in making recommendations to personas across all levels of businesses.
  • Conduct ad-hoc insights to support clients and commercial team using data from multiple sources.
  • Supporting commercial team, management and the dashboard team by investigating added value / return on investment for clients.
  • Expert in SQL, experience with R & Python programming languages is a plus.
  • Strong experience with PowerBI.
  • Comfortable using a selection of analytical tools, including but not limited to PowerBI, Google Analytics & Amplitude, to help drive decision making, provide insight and highlight trends.
  • Working knowledge of marketing attribution modelling.
  • Experience working on medium to high traffic products.
  • Understanding of web analytics clickstream data.
  • Proven commercial experience in a similar role.
