You will be joining the Data Science and Engineering team to help maximize the value of our real-time data streams with a focus on elevating business decisions and ensuring genuine fans have the best opportunity to buy tickets.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in developing and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will help shape the future of our data ecosystem and lead the design and implementation of robust, high-performance pipelines that power machine learning and innovation across the business.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data platforms and tools, along with proven experience in building and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes. You’ll collaborate closely with talented data scientists, leverage modern technologies, and contribute to a highly regarded function within the company. What You Will Be Doing

  • Work on very high-volume, real-time data streams with billions of records daily.
  • Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes that enable real-time data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, develop scalable solutions and support growing data needs.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate data infrastructure performance and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies and implement appropriate access controls and data governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that data infrastructure supports their analytical needs and requirements.
  • Build and maintain data warehouses, and other data infrastructure components that ensure data quality, accuracy, and availability.

What You Need to Know (or Technical Skills)

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience with data engineering.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of data platforms and tools, including Databricks, Spark, and SQL.
  • Experience designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Good knowledge of MLOps principles and best practices to deploy, monitor and maintain machine learning models in production.
  • Familiarity with Git CI/CD and MLflow for managing and tracking code deployment or model versions.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Kafka.
  • Experience with Terraform.
  • Experience working in ecommerce or retail industries.
  • An understanding of security measures related to ML models ensuring adherence to data privacy regulations.
