The Team
The HR Business Operations Team supports the non-Tech Lines of Business (LOB) across the global Ticketmaster division and works closely with the Tech and Regional HRBP teams, along with COE functions to deliver high impact HR infrastructure and programming. The team drives strategic alignment on HR practices and programs to achieve business objectives while upholding Ticketmaster’s core values across the Fan Support; Support & Operations; Festivals & General Admissions, Sales Operations, North American Regional Sales, and all Corporate functional teams.
The Job
The HR Manager, EMEA – Business Operations role is at the core of our HR Business Partner function. You will work with teams, people managers and key internal stakeholders to shape and implement effective people strategies and activities within each LOB and across the broader organization. It is expected that this role develops a strong understanding of Ticketmaster’s organizational strategy, culture, vision, mission, values, and strategic objectives to support Leaders in achieving prioritized deliverables.
The role’s primary function is to partner with the EMEA based leaders across their LOB/client alignment to develop creative solutions to mitigate challenges across their workforce. This requires a solution oriented and resourceful approach with a demonstrated track record of implementing HR best practices, leveraging integrated talent management and workforce planning strategies.
The role is cross-functional and regional in nature. While reporting to the Business Operations team, this role will collaborate with the HR team across EMEA and participate in both teams’ meetings.
What You Will Be Doing
Human Resources Business Partnership (HRBP)
- Partner with business leads on talent management, organization design, role design, workforce planning, leadership development, and employee engagement.
- Work with hiring managers, finance business partners and Talent Acquisition to establish staffing needs, forecast requirements, and manage related changes. Present quarterly TA roadmaps to HR Bus Ops Leadership.
- Partner with regional EMEA HR team to facilitate cross-regional and cross-functional HR initiatives, ensuring global consistency with local relevance.
- Attend senior leadership (SLT) meetings and contribute people-centric content to agendas.
- Provide guidance to Leaders on organizational structure, design, and fostering inclusive environments.
- Monitor onboarding processes for LOB new hires and escalate with Shared Services as needed.
- Identify turnover and retention focus areas to mitigate attrition.
- Analyze employee survey results and develop LOB strategies with HR Bus Ops Leadership.
- Collaborate with COEs to design, facilitate and track development plans (training and education).
- Coach managers and employees on career development and Development Plans.
- Partner on Job Leveling to ensure data integrity.
- Take ownership of and manage people data for dedicated client alignment.
Cross Functional HR Partnership
- Partner with Compensation & Benefits COEs on ad hoc issues and formal cycles related to promotions, bonus plans, salary increases, and equity.
- Oversee LOB performance management processes and move to a unified solution.
- Collaborate with Employee Experience COE on engagement survey execution and follow-up.
- Provide guidance on job descriptions and job analysis.
- Coordinate with Shared Services on employee status change processing.
- Oversee policy adherence on leaves of absence.
- Ensure timely responses from Benefits, Payroll, and IT to employee inquiries.
- Advocate for Workday as the primary HR administration system.
- Partner with Equity COE on equity initiatives and advocate for equity.
- Provide feedback on how proposed policies may impact specific LOBs.
Employee Relations
- Investigate employee relations issues and resolve per policy, escalating to HR Bus Ops Leadership and/or Legal as required.
- Support performance improvement plans, conflict resolution, and terminations as appropriate.
- Communicate legal or regulatory changes related to labor, wage/hour, and employment laws to the broader team.
What You Need to Know (Technical Skills)
- Proven track record in an HRBP capacity
- HR Management degree or equivalent experience
- HR Designation (or in progress) is a plus
- Solid understanding of UK/European employment law or ability to access reliable resources
- Solutions-oriented, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages are beneficial
- Ability to work independently and be highly resourceful
- Proficiency in MS Office; HRIS familiarity (Workday is a plus)
- Up to 25% travel may be required
