Tick Education are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants in Luton to join our supportive team. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCo to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. This is a rewarding role for someone who is patient, adaptable, and passionate about making a positive difference in children’s lives.
Key Responsibilities for SEN Teaching Assistants in Luton
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties)
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
- Support behaviour management and emotional regulation where required
