Tick Education are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Learning and Development professional to lead and support staff development across our school. This role plays a key part in ensuring that all staff have access to high-quality training and professional learning that supports both individual growth and whole-school improvement.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders to identify development needs, coordinate training programmes, and help foster a strong culture of continuous professional learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver learning and development activities for teaching and support staff
- Identify training needs through performance reviews, school priorities, and statutory requirements
- Support the planning and delivery of CPD, INSET days, and induction programmes
- Maintain accurate records of training, qualifications, and compliance
- Support leadership in embedding a culture of professional growth and wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Experience in learning and development, training, HR, or education (school-based experience desirable)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- The ability to plan, coordinate, and evaluate training effectively
- Confidence working with staff at all levels
- A commitment to inclusive practice and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and statutory training requirements (desirable)
