Tick Education are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Learning and Development professional to lead and support staff development across our school. This role plays a key part in ensuring that all staff have access to high-quality training and professional learning that supports both individual growth and whole-school improvement.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders to identify development needs, coordinate training programmes, and help foster a strong culture of continuous professional learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver learning and development activities for teaching and support staff
  • Identify training needs through performance reviews, school priorities, and statutory requirements
  • Support the planning and delivery of CPD, INSET days, and induction programmes
  • Maintain accurate records of training, qualifications, and compliance
  • Support leadership in embedding a culture of professional growth and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Experience in learning and development, training, HR, or education (school-based experience desirable)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to plan, coordinate, and evaluate training effectively
  • Confidence working with staff at all levels
  • A commitment to inclusive practice and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and statutory training requirements (desirable)
