Tick Education are looking for a passionate and dedicated Design Technology Teacher in Luton to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in the world of design, engineering, and technology, while playing an essential role in shaping the future of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Design Technology across key stages [KS3, KS4, KS5], ensuring that the curriculum is engaging, challenging, and relevant to students’ needs.
- Promote creativity and innovation through project-based learning, using both traditional and modern design tools and techniques.
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards in the design and technology workshop.
- Keep up-to-date with developments in the subject area, including new technologies and teaching methods.
Key Requirements:
- A relevant degree in Design Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience teaching Design Technology at [KS3, KS4, KS5] level (preferred but not essential).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for design, technology, and innovation.
