Role Type – Temporary

Rate of Pay – £100-£105 per day

Location – Cambridgeshire

Minimum Qualifications/Experience Required – All roles through Tick Education require a minimum of 3 months working with children.

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
  • A caring, patient, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Tick Education are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants in Cambridgeshire to join our supportive team. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCo to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. This is a rewarding role for someone who is patient, adaptable, and passionate about making a positive difference in children’s lives.

Key Responsibilities for SEN Teaching Assistants in Cambridgeshire:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties)
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
  • Support behaviour management and emotional regulation where required
