The European Real Estate Specialist Distribution team is part of the Global Client Group and is responsible for all client relationships and capital raising relating to Nuveen Real Estate’s products. The team consists of 4 professionals across Europe but is part of a larger global team.

Our European Real Estate Distribution team is seeking a Sales Analyst to assist and support the European real estate distribution function. As the Real Estate business grows globally, sales support is required to ensure the team continues to keep sales as their key focus. The successful candidate will support the European Real Estate Specialist team and work with team members within the wider Global Client Group and the Real Estate investment teams in order to assist them in developing and maintaining relationships with Nuveen Real Estate’s European institutional clients. The role would offer an opportunity to work with the largest institutional investors in the region in Real Estate. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to work closely with experienced Real Estate sales specialists to develop their Real Estate and investment knowledge, as well as receiving guidance and training on the day-to-day operational aspects of the industry. The firm supports the successful candidate with training in product knowledge, process & systems, and relationship management skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Help drive Real Estate sales across Europe together with the wider Real Estate specialist team.
  • Keep track of the real estate specialists’ activity and pipeline. Monitoring Salesforce data completeness e.g. ongoing client and prospect relationships.
  • Complete compliance training to stay abreast of regulatory requirements and learn to manage the compliance process of marketing to clients on behalf of the wider Real Estate Specialist team. This involves carrying out the appropriate assessments on Salesforce, liaising with the compliance team and marketing teams and record keeping.
  • Organise marketing materials requests on behalf of the wider Real Estate Specialist team by working with the marketing and compliance teams.
  • Attend all internal calls and assist with internal stakeholder updates e.g. fund updates, pipeline calls, real estate, and wider company management team meetings.
  • Take lead in the coordination of preparation and delivery of Request for Proposal (RFP) requests on Real Estate strategies.
  • Assist the Real Estate Specialist team to manage client queries on portfolio related matters. Follow through on issues with relevant internal teams.
  • Some participation in client meetings and meeting preparation (collating background information on previous meetings and prospect/client info, preparing marketing materials and assisting with follow ups).
  • Be the distribution lead regarding event co-ordination in conjunction with Marketing.
  • Assist the wider Real Estate Specialist team with project managing due diligence processes and organise the onboarding with clients.
  • Ongoing market and prospect research e.g. via Mandatewire, Preqin, With Intelligence.

Technical Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Degree qualified with a strong academic track record.
  • Excellent literacy (both written and spoken), numeracy skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Previous work experience gained within Investment Management and/or Real Estate Investment preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of Investment Products/Real Estate/Real Assets preferred but not required, if you demonstrate a willingness to develop knowledge through learning independently and from colleagues/peers.
  • Experience of working with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) advantageous.
  • Additional European language skills advantageous.
