Are you looking for a sustainable work/life balance? Are you eager to begin your career in Internal Audit and would you like to obtain a professional qualification? Do you want to feel like a valued member of a fantastic team?
TIAA Ltd is so excited to be recruiting a Trainee Internal Auditor within our Scotland team.
Our internal audit team has been established for more than 30 years and is central to the caring service we offer our clients. We never forget that at the centre of any audit are real people - patients, students, tenants, or customers. As such, our teams are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work. Acting with integrity and understanding and using their expert knowledge to improve people's lives.
The role:
Internal Audit is utilised by our clients to help them maintain a strong governance and risk management framework. It helps identify operational risk and leads to businesses strengthening and growing. Whilst not a traditional accounting and finance role, candidates interested in governance, risk, controls and business improvement may find Internal Audit a rewarding career path. If you have an analytical mind and want to play an important hand in helping other businesses succeed then this could be perfect!
As a Trainee Internal Auditor, you will be supporting your team in carrying out internal audit reviews for a wide range of public and private sector organisations. The reviews carried out are to ascertain whether the processes are operating as intended and to identify opportunities to operate more effectively.
As a Trainee, we will give you all the support you need to help you gain your professional qualifications and succeed in your career through our Pathway programme. The opportunities for progression within the company are endless. In return, we ask for a driven, hard-working individual who is passionate about providing excellent service to our clients.
We offer a flexible, home-based working model, balanced with on-site client visits where face-to-face engagement adds value to the audit process.
Requirements:
We will give you the tools you need to succeed as an Internal Auditor. No matter your background, depth of experience, or education level, we’re keen to explore your suitability with TIAA Ltd. All we ask is for you to have the right mind-set and a strong interest in the world of Internal Audit
