We are seeking a dedicated and motivated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming, one-form-entry primary school in Erdington, Birmingham. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and helping young learners develop the essential skills they need to succeed. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and will continue until the end of the academic year, with daily pay of up to £270 depending on experience. The Role * Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum. * Teach core subjects, including phonics, reading, writing and mathematics. * Create a positive, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment. * Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities. * Assess and monitor pupil progress, identifying areas for further development. * Support children's academic, social and emotional development. * Establish positive behaviour management strategies and maintain high expectations. * Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil progress and attainment. The Ideal Candidate * Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). * Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1. * Has a strong understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum and phonics. * Demonstrates effective classroom and behaviour management skills. * Can deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire young learners. * Is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential. * Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
