Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Transport Manager located in Walsall. As the Transport Manager, you will oversee day-to-day transport and logistics operations, manage vehicle fleets, coordinate with drivers and clients, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. You will be responsible for optimizing transport efficiency, supervising schedules, and addressing customer inquiries to maintain high levels of service quality and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Operations Management and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
- Strong skills in Transportation Management and Fleet Management, with an ability to coordinate logistics effectively
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills for resolving client and driver concerns
- Strong problem-solving abilities and leadership experience
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to transport
- Experience within the construction or haulage industries is a plus
- Possession of a Transport Manager CPC qualification or equivalent is highly desirable
