We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join thyssenkrupp Materials UK. In this role, you will pick materials from racks or machines for customer orders, load and unload vehicles, and scan items to rack locations, all while following safety and quality procedures.

Shift Pattern:

  • 40 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern
  • Monday to Friday, Week 1: 6am-2pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading lorries
  • Maintaining metal traceability systems using barcode scanners
  • Preparing customer orders
  • Racking, stacking, and identifying incoming stock
  • Checking deliveries for quality and quantity
  • Operating forklift trucks and warehouse machinery as authorized
  • Ensuring cleanliness of work areas
  • Reporting damages, shortages, and overages
  • Performing other warehouse duties as required
  • Following safety policies to ensure personal and team safety
  • Booking in received goods where applicable
