We are looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Finance team based in the Nottingham head office, reporting to the Head of Accounting.
Responsibilities- Technical accounting expert with responsibilities for monthly IFRS 16 processing and completeness checks in coordination with key stakeholders in addition to other ad-hoc technical accounting requirements.
- Key contact for external audit and external tax advisors.
- Ownership of statutory reporting in coordination with the Head of Accounting.
- Ownership of the business cash flow reporting using both the direct and indirect methods.
- Working alongside Head of Accounting to streamline cash flow forecasting procedures.
- Routine month-end journals, driving analysis and brief forecasting where necessary.
- Balance sheet reconciliations for complex areas.
- Monthly and quarterly group management reporting in IFRS, ownership and understanding of the group reporting templates.
- Ability to be a key contact for ad-hoc group reporting requests.
- Driving the process improvements that have been set in place and encouraging best practices.
- ACA/ACCA Fully qualified candidates from a practice background.
- Competent in IFRS accounting.
- Highly inquisitive and a strong desire to learn and continue to drive process improvements.
