We’re recruiting a Lift Engineer Apprentice (Level 3) to join TK Elevator UK – an exciting chance to kick‑start a rewarding engineering career. Gain hands‑on experience with lifts across multiple sites, learn from expert engineers, and build valuable technical and customer‑facing skills. As a Lift Engineer Apprentice, you’ll spend three years learning the trade hands‑on, working alongside experienced engineers and building the skills you need to become a fully qualified Lift Engineer.
Your role will include:
- Supporting the maintenance, servicing and repair of lifts, ensuring work is completed safely and on time
- Learning how to keep sites clean, safe and operating to a high standard
- Identifying, sourcing and using the right tools and equipment for each job
- Planning and organising your work effectively while on site
- Building strong customer‑facing skills, representing TK Elevator professionally
- Travelling to a variety of customer locations and gaining experience across different environments
Training & Qualification
During your 3‑year apprenticeship, you will undertake the Lift and Escalator Engineering Apprenticeship Standard (Level 3), equivalent to A-Level, delivered by L.I.T.S. Limited. At least 20% of your working time will be spent on off‑the‑job training, with one allocated day per week for lift‑specific distance learning. You will work towards a Level 3 NVQ in Engineering – Lift Installation & Commissioning. On completion, you will achieve the Lift and Escalator Engineering Level 3 Standard.

On successful completion, you will be supported to continue developing your career with us, here at TK Elevator. You will be encouraged to pursue further qualifications and take ownership of your professional growth, contributing to business objectives with passion and enthusiasm.
