What we expect

We are looking for 2 passionate Lift Engineer Apprentices to join our Central London team. This role will be working on various sites carrying out maintenance, service and repair work on lifts and escalators, and ensuring that all sites are clean and of an acceptable standard. You’ll be working in a supportive team alongside experienced staff and gaining hands-on experience and new skills, essential for a successful career in the vertical transportation industry!

What you’ll do at work

Whilst at work you will collect evidence towards a Level 3 NVQ in Engineering in Lift Service and Repair and be supported by our training provider L.I.T.S Ltd. You will be allocated one day a week to complete relevant lift specific distance learning units and you will gain a Lift and escalator electromechanic (level 3) qualification.

Who we are looking for

  • An interest in engineering and a commitment to attend, complete and achieve the required training throughout the apprenticeship.
  • Good use of initiative.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • GCSE or equivalent in:
  • English (grade 9-4 (A*-C))
  • Maths (grade 9-4 (A*-C))
  • STEM (grade 9-4 (A*-C))
  • Engineering (grade Pass)

  • Year two - £20,649.72
  • Year three - £28,393.64
