What we expect

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Escalator Service & Repair Engineer to join our London & South division based in Cambridgeshire (Milton Keynes/Peterborough/Cambridge), who will be responsible for servicing our clients\’ escalators across their region.

As an Escalator Service & Repair Engineer, your day to day will include:

1. Servicing and maintaining customer escalators
2. Responding to mechanical failures and breakdowns
3. Carrying out safety checks and risk assessments
4. Planning and managing workload around assigned jobs
5. Maintaining van stock and ordering supplies through our supply chain
6. Recommending parts and equipment that need to be quoted or ordered to keep the escalators compliant
7. Out of hours work on a pro rata basis

Who we are looking for

1. NVQ3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent qualifications
2. Hold a full UK Driving License and able to travel
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. The ability to use your initiative and work well with others
5. Positive attitude and receptive to change
6. Extremely organised
7. Superior customer-care skills
8. The ability to self-assess and take ownership of personal development
9. An advocate for H&S regulations in the workplace
