We are delighted to be recruiting for a new role within our Bertioli by Thyme team in the Cotswolds. The Product Development & Brand Manager will own seasonal range development, supplier coordination and launch execution for Bertioli. Sitting at the intersection of brand storytelling, margin delivery and operational execution, the Product Development & Brand Manager will ensure that every product launched is strategically aligned, beautifully delivered, and commercially viable - strengthening Bertioli’s position as a premium luxury lifestyle brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and manage a structured seasonal product roadmap aligned to Bertioli’s brand pillars and long‑term vision.
- Ensure product development supports both commercial growth and brand storytelling.
- Translate seasonal themes into clear product direction and launch priorities.
- Range Architecture & SKU Discipline
- Own the overall range architecture, ensuring clarity across: Core collection, Seasonal launches, Limited editions and special sets.
- Reduce SKU overload by strengthening focus, edit discipline and hero product prioritisation.
- Ensure the assortment remains premium, coherent and scalable.
- Manage end-to-end product development cycles from concept through to production readiness.
- Coordinate suppliers and partners to ensure timelines, quality standards and delivery expectations are met.
- Own margin targets for new products, ensuring commercial viability alongside luxury execution.
- Work closely with Commercial and Operations teams to align product planning with forecasting and stock strategy.
- Coordinate product launches across all channels, ensuring operational and storytelling readiness.
- Partner with Brand, Ecommerce and Retail teams to deliver cohesive launch moments.
- Lead internal product training and education, ensuring teams can confidently communicate product stories and benefits.
- Ensure product development is fully integrated into seasonal marketing and commercial calendars.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong experience in product development, range management or NPD within luxury lifestyle, beauty, home or hospitality‑led retail.
- Commercially minded, with confidence managing margin targets, supplier performance and range discipline.
- Highly organised, process‑driven and able to bring structure to fast‑moving seasonal cycles.
- Strong brand sensibility – able to integrate storytelling into product design and launch execution.
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally across brand, commercial, retail and operational teams.
