Title: Music Curriculum Lead

Location: London (office-based)

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:45am–4:45pm

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)

Overview:

A fast-growing EdTech company is looking for a Music Curriculum Lead to join their team. This is a hands-on role that blends music education, content creation, and school engagement. You\’ll be working closely with educators to develop high-quality, curriculum-aligned music resources and provide top-level support to partner schools.

The right person will be an ex-primary school music teacher who’s confident creating engaging learning materials, running CPD sessions, and communicating with schools.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum & Content Development

  • Create music lesson plans and classroom resources aligned with the national curriculum
  • Produce training videos and CPD content for teachers
  • Develop social media and newsletter content focused on music education

School Engagement & Support

  • Act as the main contact for partner schools, supporting them with training, onboarding and day-to-day queries
  • Deliver live product demos and gather feedback for improvements
  • Provide support via phone, email, and video calls

Events & Outreach

  • Represent the company at conferences and education events
  • Deliver CPD sessions and network with school leaders and education professionals
  • Help set up and run exhibition stands

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS and minimum 3 years’ experience teaching music in UK primary schools
  • Confident communicator and engaging presenter
  • Creative and capable of designing fun, effective learning resources
  • Comfortable in a busy, varied role
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with remote delivery tools
  • Willing to travel to events (some with overnight stays)

  • Experience using CRMs or CMS platforms
  • Confidence using social media in a professional context
