Full Stack Engineer (Java, React, AI/ML/LLM/SDK) – Cutting-Edge Series B scale up

Location: Remote EU – Spain

Salary: £70K – £110K

About:

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a proven track record in building and scaling applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). This role requires deep expertise in Java, React, and modern AI/ML development, including LLM frameworks, SDKs, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable full-stack solutions involving both frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Java).
  • Build and optimise AI/ML pipelines leveraging LLMs and RAG architectures.
  • Develop SDKs and APIs to support AI-driven applications in resource-constrained or production-grade environments.
  • Collaborate across engineering, product, and research teams to drive innovation in AI/ML-based products.
  • Ensure high performance, testability, and reliability across the stack.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Java and React/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based systems (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of AI application architecture, including RAG systems, vector databases, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.
  • Experience with ML model serving, SDK development, and working in production-grade environments.
  • Ability to work across the full stack and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
