About the Role
A fast-growing, mission-led education company is seeking an exceptional Interim Operations & Education Lead to cover a maternity leave. The company creates curriculum-aligned resources that support UK primary teachers to deliver engaging, high-quality PE and music lessons. This is a senior leadership role, ideal for a headteacher or deputy head with a background in both PE and music. You’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, leading a talented core team, and ensuring the continued delivery of high-impact educational products and services.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the operational and educational aspects of the business, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning
- Overseeing the delivery of PE and music resources to ensure they remain curriculum-aligned and high-quality
- Managing and supporting a small, dedicated team in a collaborative and positive culture
- Maintaining strong relationships with schools and educational partners
- Driving key initiatives and projects forward, aligned with company values and goals
- Collaborating remotely with the founding team on strategy and vision
- Ensuring compliance with relevant educational and regulatory standards
Who You Are
- An experienced headteacher or deputy headteacher with leadership experience in UK primary education
- Background in teaching and/or leading both PE and music curricula
- Organised, strategic, and confident making informed decisions
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Passionate about supporting teachers and simplifying complex teaching areas
