The Role
As a Customer Solutions Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Engineering. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you’ll translate complex customer challenges into practical, scalable solutions. This is a high-impact role, central to driving successful outcomes throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations to senior stakeholders, including C-suite audiences.
- Solution Design: Gather and analyse customer requirements to architect tailored observability and performance monitoring solutions.
- Proof of Value: Own and execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs), ensuring successful technical validation and customer buy-in.
- Value Positioning: Clearly articulate platform capabilities and differentiation within a competitive market.
- Customer Engagement: Partner with key accounts to provide ongoing technical guidance and build long-term relationships.
- Bid Support: Contribute to high-quality RFP/RFI responses for complex enterprise opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years in Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, or Sales Engineering within an enterprise SaaS environment.
- Domain Knowledge: Exposure to observability, monitoring, or operational analytics platforms.
- Technical Skills: Experience with industry monitoring or performance tools. Strong understanding of Linux and/or Windows environments. Scripting or programming knowledge (e.g. Python, Shell, or Java). Familiarity with networking, databases, and SQL.
- Industry Exposure: Experience supporting complex, business-critical applications is advantageous.
- Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
