The Opportunity

We’re working with a fast-growing international EdTech company that is using AI to transform how maths is taught and understood in schools. Its technology gives teachers deeper visibility into how students approach problems, helping them identify misconceptions, understand progress and provide more personalised support. Already used across thousands of schools, the business is growing rapidly across the UK and internationally and is now looking for an ambitious Account Executive to join its London commercial team

The Role

You’ll be responsible for generating new opportunities and closing deals with schools and multi-academy trusts across the UK. This is a genuine full-cycle new business role. You’ll own your pipeline from initial outreach and discovery through to negotiation and close. You’ll have significant autonomy over how you build and progress your territory, working in an entrepreneurial environment where you’re trusted to identify what works rather than simply follow a rigid sales playbook. You’ll also meet customers face-to-face, attend industry events and build relationships with stakeholders ranging from classroom teachers and headteachers through to senior leadership and central trust teams

What you’ll be doing

  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities across schools and multi-academy trusts
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
  • Build relationships with senior education decision-makers
  • Run discovery conversations, presentations and commercial negotiations
  • Develop and manage your own pipeline
  • Attend customer meetings, trade shows and networking events
  • Travel across the UK to meet prospective customers, typically around one day per week
  • weekHelp shape the sales approach as the UK business continues to grow

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Ambitious and motivated by exceeding targets
  • Comfortable generating their own pipeline
  • Confident discussing pricing and commercial terns
  • Experienced managing deals through to close
  • Credible with both end users and senior decision-makers
  • Energetic, sociable and comfortable attending events
  • Entrepreneurial and able to work with a high level of autonomy
  • Happy to travel regularly across the UK

Experience

  • At least 2 years of sales experience
  • Experience closing new business within technology, SaaS or a similar B2B environment
  • A demonstrable track record of hitting or exceeding targets
  • Experience within education or EdTech would be beneficial, but isn’t essential
  • A degree is beneficial but not required

What’s On Offer

  • Base salary around £55,000, with some flexibility for an exceptional candidate as well as uncapped comission.
  • Benefits package
  • Annual company trip
  • Significant progression opportunities within a rapidly growing international bussiness
  • The opportunity to sell a genuinely impactful product that improves how children learn.
