We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Jet Washing Operative to join our Warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining a wide range of hire equipment using jet washing machinery, ensuring all items are returned in a clean and presentable condition for future use.
Requirements- Operate jet washing equipment to clean tools, machinery, and other hire items
- Inspect equipment before and after cleaning for damage or wear
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the designated washing area
- Assist with general warehouse duties including loading/unloading, stock movement, and equipment checks
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times
- Report any faults or issues with equipment to the supervisor
- Ensure timely turnaround of cleaned equipment to meet operational demands
- Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial cleaning role preferred
- Familiarity with jet washing equipment and basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work in a fast‑paced environment
- Willingness to work in outdoor or semi‑covered areas in varying weather conditions
- Adaptable, reliable and proactive
- Forklift license or experience (training can be provided)
- Basic understanding of equipment used in construction or specialist contracting
9 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
