In this role, you will:
- Take pride in being responsible for ensuring customers receive the hire equipment they have ordered or collected, on time and in a positive, friendly manner
- Ensure we meet our target of 98% on-time delivery
- Resolve problems promptly, communicating with customers and colleagues as needed
- Load and unload THX's hire equipment using appropriate lifting equipment and manual handling techniques
- Follow safe working processes while driving and loading/unloading
YOU MAY ALSO:
- Communicate with colleagues in other departments to ensure customer requirements are met
- Operate THX's delivery IT system, updating the system data and taking pictures of equipment
- Raise issues and opportunities to improve the THX operations
- Identify sales opportunities while travelling and report these back to the sales team
- During quieter periods, you may be required to support our Warehouse and/or Workshop department
The full-time schedule ranges from start times between 5:00am-7.30am, Monday to Friday.
Requirements
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE:
- Experience in providing excellent customer service
- A valid, clean UK HGV Class 2 licence and up-to-date CPC
- Experience in driving and delivering goods
- Familiarity with IT and navigation systems
You will also ideally have a current IPAF licence.
