Daniel Thwaites is a diverse hospitality business made up of hotels, spas, inns, pubs and a craft brewery located across England. About the Graduate Programme: We’re looking for graduates to join our business, and over 18 months on an operational programme develop from supervisor into a department manager. You will experience the world of both hotels, spas and inns, rotating through operational departments to gain a detailed understanding of our business and the industry. You will be able to learn from your peers through mentoring and coaching, develop your commercial knowledge and leadership skills all with the view to enhancing your career and becoming an inspirational leader. By the end of the programme, you will have gained hands-on experience with a career pathway to move into an operational management role.
The qualities we are looking for: We’re looking for enthusiastic, positive and personable people who are passionate about developing their career and becoming future leaders; team players who are naturally hospitable and enjoy being with other people. You will most likely have recently graduated from university with a hospitality degree although this is not essential and will have proven experience of working in a hospitality environment, ideally to a supervisory level.
The next 18 months will see you relocate to any two of our properties, working in places like the beautiful Lake District to York and the Yorkshire Dales, Leeds, Bristol, Cirencester, Hampshire and the South Coast - the Company has properties across the country. You will need to be available for assessment centres on w/c 23rd March 2026, or w/c 30th March 2026. Please note we’re unable to provide sponsorship to overseas candidates at this time.
