Thursday is on a mission to make dating fun again by getting people off their phones and meeting IRL. We’re now expanding that mission with Thursday Dinners: curated group dining experiences that bring singles together for great food, conversation, and connection.
The role:
As a Dinners Executive, you’ll own Thursday Dinners in your region, building a portfolio of restaurant partners and delivering weekly sell-out group dinners. You’ll be both relationship-builder and operator: securing venues, creating events, managing listings, and ensuring every dinner runs smoothly. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who thrives on people, problem-solving, and performance.
What you'll do:
- Build & grow a network of partner restaurants across target cities in your region.
- Book and manage a rolling schedule of 70 dinners per week (across multiple cities).
- Operate internal systems with exceptional attention to detail in order to deliver effective partner communications.
- Promote dinners via Fatsoma and Thursday channels, ensuring engaging, varied listings that sell out.
- Track and report weekly performance (sell-out rate, demand trends, user feedback) to the Product Lead.
- Experiment and learn: test new dinner formats, cuisines, price points, and ticket types.
- Deliver operational excellence: guarantee restaurant readiness, smooth user experience, and consistent event quality.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to capture UGC and promote local dinners.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in the restaurant industry, events, partnerships, or hospitality operations (or you’re just naturally brilliant at getting things done).
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills: you love a well-run spreadsheet as much as a full dining room.
- Energy, confidence, and commercial instinct. You know how to hit targets and get creative when needed.
- Strong sense of ownership: you treat your region like your own mini business.
- Genuine passion for people, food, and creating great in-person experiences.
Targets:
- Deliver 70 weekly dinners in your region.
- Maintain a minimum 75% sell-out rate.
- Onboard new partner restaurants per week in order to sustain the dinners offering.
- Generate actionable insights on diner preferences, restaurant quality, and event formats.
Why join Thursday?
- Be part of one of the world’s most exciting IRL social products.
- Autonomy, fast decision-making, and direct impact on growth.
- Chance to shape Thursday’s next global product from MVP to scale.
- Work with a team that actually believes work should be fun (and social).
