Tutor (Casual) – Vocational
Thurrock Council, Grays, Essex, RM17 5DD
£24.30 – £27.33 per hour, depending on grade.
Grade TUTLEC 1-4 depending on qualifications and experience. Permanent Contract.
Hours per week are variable (as & when required) and subject to demand – term time only.
Description
- Thurrock Adult Community College is the local authority\’s provider of adult education for Thurrock. Our main base is in the Old Court House in Grays, but we deliver courses across the borough.
- You will be responsible for planning courses and lessons, creating resources, teaching lessons, and marking learners\’ work and giving developmental feedback.
- Experience of teaching adults is required.
Essential Qualifications:
- You will have level 2 qualifications in English and Maths;
- A level 3 award in Education and Training and ideally have a specialism in adult social care.
DBS Level:
- An Enhanced DBS check with children and adult barred list is required.
