Title: Team Manager β Family Support Team 1
Salary: Β£53,460 β Β£61,638 per annum (plus Market Supplement of Β£5,400 per annum)
Grade: G
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: 37 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the team, ensuring the quality of practice and social work intervention is at the forefront, to improve outcomes for children and young people.
- Work closely with Service Manager and Management team to foster an environment where learning and development is embraced and encouraged.
- Collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to tackle complex challenges in safeguarding, care planning and permanency.
- Maintain a friendly and supportive Children's Services Department, adhering to the Signs of Safety model and contextual safeguarding approach.
Qualifications & experience
- Qualified social worker with experience managing/supervising Social Workers within a statutory setting.
- Either already a Team Manager or an aspiring Senior Social Worker.
- Experience in safeguarding, care planning and permanency.
- Be SWE Registered with a recognised Social Work Qualification.
- Enhanced DBS Check required.
