Job Description

Senior Practitioner/Practice Manager - Thurrock\'s Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)

Salary: £45,624 to £52,038 per annum

Grade: F

Permanent Contract

37 Hours per week

We are seeking an exceptional, engaging and committed individual to join us as a Senior Practitioner/Practice Manager within Thurrock\'s Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).

This person must be a Qualified Social Worker at Senior Practitioner level and will be supporting the MASH Team with Early Help.

The role is a unique and exciting opportunity to support the MASH team in a secure environment to assess risk to children and young people in Thurrock, consider threshold for intervention and work alongside key agencies to appropriately information share and promote the welfare of children.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring all child protection, children in need cases and Early Help cases are responded and signposted to the appropriate service in a timely manner.

Requirements;

  • Be registered with Social Work England and hold a social work degree/masters
  • Be at Senior Practitioner level
  • Subject to an enhanced DBS
  • Experience within a multi-agency/front door team
  • Extensive understand of threshold and intervention
  • Knowledge of universal support and Early Help Services
  • Be present in the office for a minimum of two days per week
