The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

You will be responsible for planning courses and lessons, creating resources, teaching lessons, and marking learners' work and giving developmental feedback. This role is an exciting opportunity to support Thurrock residents with developing their skills and confidence in a subject of interest to them in their everyday life and work. Thurrock Adult Community College is the local authority's provider of adult education for Thurrock. Our main base is in the Old Court House in Grays, but we deliver courses across the borough.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan courses and lessons, create resources, teach lessons, and mark learners' work with developmental feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 qualifications in English and maths, ideally a Level 3 award in Education and Training.
  • Qualification or experience within any subject you wish to teach.

Role Details:

  • Salary: £26.07 - £29.72 per hour, depending on qualifications.
  • Grade: TUTLEC 1 - 4 depending on teaching qualifications and experience.
  • Contract: Permanent.
  • Hours per Week: Variable (as & when required) and subject to demand.

We are seeking engaging and committed individuals to join us as casual tutors to teach arts & crafts as part of our Family Learning provision. You will be passionate about your subject, have previous and relevant industry experience, and be keen to inspire our learners.

DBS Check: Enhanced with Children's Barred List is required for this post.
