Job Description:
Salary: National Minimum Wage for Age 21-Month Fixed-Term Contract 37 Hours per Week
We are looking for a Business Apprentice to join the Performance and Support Team within the Place Directorate. As part of this role, you will provide administrative support to a variety of front-line services. This is a varied and interesting role based at Thurrock Council\’s Oliver Close Environmental Depot. Main responsibilities include:
The successful candidate will require good communication skills, have an attention to detail and be flexible in their approach to work.
You will spend 1 day per week at college completing your NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration.
As a Thurrock Council Apprentice you’ll have access to a host of additional benefits, including:
Training willbemainlyonlineoratSouth Essex College, but you may be asked to attend an alternative training facility from time to time.
Apprenticeship study will be undertaken within normal working hours. Time will be allocated to attend training and complete assignments, workbooks, online training etc. as required by the qualification.
