A leading technology-driven organization is seeking a Senior Storage Engineer to contribute to the design, implementation, and support of high-performance storage systems used in advanced research and computing environments. This role focuses on delivering scalable, low-latency infrastructure to support data-intensive workloads, including machine learning and high-performance computing (HPC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage large-scale Linux-based storage solutions
  • Support high-throughput, low-latency compute environments and workflows
  • Work with technologies such as NFS, S3, CEPH, GPFS, Lustre, ROCE, and Infiniband
  • Tune and optimize systems at the OS, storage, and network layers
  • Build infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible and Terraform
  • Develop monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk
  • Collaborate with engineering and research teams to align infrastructure with evolving needs

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Deep understanding of file and object storage protocols and distributed storage systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills across the full stack
  • Experience with scripting or development in languages such as Python or Golang
  • Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and container ecosystems (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
