Due to continued successful growth, a 15M turnover subsidiary of a multi-billion organisation based in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Test Engineer to work closely with the Technical Project Manager and wider teams within the business on all bespoke product and process development projects.
You will have the opportunity for personal development and career growth within a broad and varied role that includes:
- Hands-on and fixture testing
- Process and validating materials
- Performance and user experience analysis
- Reporting and lab work
- Benchmarking competitors
- Potential domestic and international travel for technical support to stakeholders, including annual trade events
Due to the nature of this role, you will be very hands-on working with machinery and tools, including moderate-heavy lifting at times. You will possess an eye for detail with good MS Office skills for analysis and reporting, along with a positive attitude and approach, keenness to learn, good communication skills, and a good sense of humour.
You will ideally have a degree in Materials Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline, although this is not essential as relevant training will be provided. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in process and product development and a willingness to learn. You will gain hands-on experience working within a manufacturing environment.
