About the role:
We are looking for a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Huntingdon. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality products in a structured and supportive manufacturing environment. As a Production Operator, you will be involved in a variety of assembly and manufacturing activities across our production areas. You will work as part of a team responsible for building and assembling electronic products to a high standard, ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency at every stage of the process. This is a varied role that combines electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, inspection, and packing activities. You will receive full training and ongoing support to ensure you are confident in all aspects of the role and able to contribute effectively to production targets and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling electronic components onto printed circuit boards in accordance with work instructions
- Operating a range of production and assembly machinery safely and effectively
- Carrying out visual inspection of assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
- Wiring and cable assembly work
- Mechanical assembly of products and sub-assemblies
- Packing finished products ready for dispatch, ensuring they meet company quality and presentation standards
About you:
Ideally, you will have previous experience working in a manufacturing or complex assembly environment, with preference given to candidates who have experience in electronics assembly. However, this is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right person. You will be a reliable and enthusiastic team player with a strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable following instructions, working to quality standards, and contributing positively to a busy production environment.
