Your Role

Waddington All Saints Academy, part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, is seeking a caring and reliable Play Leader to join our friendly Lunchtime team. This role is vital in supporting our pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring a safe, happy, and inclusive environment on the playground.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Supervising children in the, playground, and around the school site during lunchtime
  2. Encouraging positive behaviour and play, helping pupils to develop social skills
  3. Promoting the school's values and safeguarding the welfare of all pupils
  4. Assisting with minor first aid (training provided)
  5. Ensuring the lunchtime period runs smoothly and safely

We are looking for someone who:

  1. Enjoys working with children and is approachable, patient, and kind
  2. Has good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  3. Is reliable, punctual, and committed to supporting the school community
  4. Will promote inclusion and respect across all groups of pupils
