Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team in Basildon. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our products, contributing to our mission of providing outstanding service and solutions to our clients. Please note, this is a 4am start from our Warehouse in Basildon but delivering in the London area.
Duties
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload products from the vehicle
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, using a delivery app
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with local and London roads and routes
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
