We are seeking to hire a Sales Development Representative to support us in qualifying inbound enquiries as well as carry out targeted outreach campaigns with the aim of generating sales opportunities. This role reports into the Director of Demand Generation and sits within the Marketing function while working very closely with our global sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly evaluate and qualify all inbound enquiries, ensuring our inbound qualification process is executed to a high standard.
- Engage proactively with all inbound enquiries via email, calls, and other appropriate channels to understand their needs and assess their level of interest.
- Strive to convert inbound enquiries into qualified pipeline opportunities for our Business Development teams to close and convert into revenue.
- Ensure SLAs are met, and a timely response is provided to all enquiries.
- Utilize key platforms, such as 6sense, to identify accounts that are in the market for our solution and manage targeted outreach campaigns to convert into sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with our global sales teams to ensure that all qualified enquiries are assigned to our sales teams and followed up with in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts with high levels of Marketing engagement, assess if they are ready to engage with our sales team and convert to qualified opportunities.
- Continuously seek ways to optimize and improve our inbound qualification processes working closely with our Marketing, Sales and Revenue Operations functions.
KPIs that this role is measured on
- Number of sales opportunities created from both inbound enquiries and outbound campaigns.
- Pipeline value and revenue generated from both inbound enquiries and outbound campaigns.
- Enquiry response times.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience working ideally in Payments / Fintech or at least able to demonstrate experience selling a complex B2B product / solution.
- 2+ years experience working in an SDR role with experience in both qualifying inbound leads and running outbound campaigns.
- Experience using sales engagement platforms such as Apollo.io, Outreach.io, Salesloft or equivalent.
- Experience using Pardot and Salesforce CRM or equivalent, managing leads, contacts and opportunities.
- Experience using 6Sense Account Based Marketing platform or equivalent.
- Has a natural aptitude for sales and is able to easily converse with people over email and video calls.
