Context of the Role

Thunes is seeking a dynamic and innovative Manager of Content & Thought Leadership to join our growing marketing team. This role will focus on driving content creation and thought leadership campaigns that enhance Thunes' global narrative, engage our target audience, and support our growth initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director of Brand & Public Relations, the Manager will play a critical role in executing content strategies that amplify our brand, position us as thought leaders, and support our demand generation, sales enablement, customer community building, and brand awareness goals. In this role, you’ll leverage emerging technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence, to create scalable, data-driven content that drives business results. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure content resonates across diverse markets, amplifying our position in the fintech and global payments landscape. Key Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy Execution: Support the Director of Brand & Public Relations in building and executing Thunes' global content strategy. Focus on driving brand awareness, thought leadership, and engagement through a wide range of content formats, including blogs, case studies, white papers, social media, email campaigns, webinars, video, podcasts, visuals, and presentations.
  • Content Creation & Production: Develop and produce high-quality content that aligns with Thunes' messaging and target audience. Ensure content is rooted in data and insights, supporting both marketing and sales goals.
  • Artificial Intelligence Implementation: Lead the identification and implementation of AI tools that will optimize content development, production, and scalability. Drive AI adoption to improve content quality, speed, editorial consistency, and performance metrics. Use AI to enhance content personalization and engagement, maximizing impact on business objectives.
  • Storytelling for Target Accounts: Work closely with sales and product teams to understand the needs of our target accounts and craft relevant, engaging content that drives engagement and interest from key prospects.
  • Content Planning & Execution: Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with global campaigns, product launches, and other business initiatives. Collaborate with teams to ensure all content is cohesive and reflects Thunes' brand and messaging.
  • Collaborative Content Production: Work with internal teams, external agencies, and freelancers to produce content, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with overall marketing and sales goals.
  • Internal & External Content Alignment: Collaborate with product marketing and demand generation teams to align content creation with business objectives, ensuring consistency across all channels and audiences.
  • Client & Partner Engagement: Develop client-facing materials that showcase our solutions and highlight customer success stories. Collaborate with partners to create joint content campaigns that elevate Thunes’ position in the market.
  • Performance Measurement: Track and measure the performance of content across various platforms, using data to refine and optimize strategies. Report on content metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders, including new and influenced opportunities.
  • Thought Leadership: Identify opportunities for content-driven thought leadership, including blog posts, speaking engagements, webinars, and awards submissions. Help position Thunes as a recognized leader in the fintech and global payments space.
  • Social Media Strategy: Support the development and execution of social media content strategies, ensuring consistency with broader marketing objectives and engaging with key audiences.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience: 4-6+ years of experience in content creation and marketing, within a B2B fintech environment. Proven ability to produce high-quality, impactful content.
  • Content Expertise: Strong background in writing, content creation, and storytelling with an emphasis on strategic alignment to business goals. A deep understanding of various content formats, including written content, video, podcasts, and more.
  • Artificial Intelligence: Deep understanding of AI tools for content creation, optimization, and scalability. Experience in leveraging AI platforms to generate content, define prompts, and ensure high-quality, on-brand materials, including copy, image and video. Familiarity with using AI for content scheduling, performance tracking, and editorial enhancements.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze content performance data and leverage insights to improve strategies. Comfort with tools like Google Analytics, social media analytics, or content management platforms.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and regional teams to create compelling content that supports global and regional objectives.
  • Copywriting Excellence: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality content.
  • Social Media & Digital Savvy: Experience with social media strategies for B2B and understanding how to leverage digital platforms to expand content reach and engagement.
