My Client, a well-established Law Firm, is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to join their team.
Main Duties:
- Assisting fee earners in the smooth running of cases by drafting relevant documents throughout the process
- Carrying out searches and reporting to the fee earner
- Communicating with estate agents, other solicitors and third parties
- Compliance with office policies and procedures and the use of standard systems and templates
- Compliance with all lender policies and requirements with regards to mortgages
- Accurate preparation of completions statements and invoices in accordance with accounting procedures
- Assisting in keeping the client updated throughout the process
Skills Required:
- Experience within Conveyancing
- Working knowledge of solicitors’ administration practices and experience of setting out documents across the range of subject areas
- Assertive, articulate, flexible and co-operative
- Self-confident in dealing with client enquiries
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
