Thunderbird Fried Chicken is One Man’s Mission to Make Fried Chicken Again. Starting in London in 2017, we have now expanded to six locations with further plans to open new stores across the country. We’re currently on the lookout for ambitious & passionate people to join our team and offer our award-winning delicious chicken to our guests!
As a supervisor, you will play a key role in the daily running of the restaurant, taking care of all our guests while also preparing some awesome fried chicken that’s so good it’s won awards. What Will You Be Doing?
- Representing the business in the event of a food hygiene audit, and using your thorough understanding of food safety and health & safety to maintain a safe & compliant restaurant.
- Running shifts and supervising the daily operations at one of our busy restaurants in London.
- Working with the general manager, assistant manager and wider management team to maintain all Gold Standards of your site.
- Placing & receiving orders, and managing stock effectively to maximise profits & minimise costs.
- Handling feedback, queries, and complaints from guests in a way that ensures they leave our restaurants happy every single time.
- Leading the team in breading, frying, plating and building some of the best fried chicken in town.
- Taking orders, serving food, and getting to know our loyal guests while also doing everything you can to turn curious first-timers into raving regulars.
- Living our values - Family, Trust, Authenticity, Fun and Pride - and upholding our Gold Standards in everything you do.
What Are We Looking For?
- Someone with at least 2 years’ supervisor experience in hospitality - particularly a QSR/Fast-Casual background.
- Someone with extensive experience of food safety and health & safety, who understands the importance of maintaining immaculately clean kitchens & restaurants.
- Experience with controlling Cost of Labour & Cost of Sales, and managing stock effectively to contribute to the running of a profitable & successful business.
- Someone who can stay calm in a high-pressure environment without compromising our Gold Standards, and is comfortable working at pace during the busiest shifts.
- A “people person”, who is happiest leading a vibrant & enthusiastic crew and can work with the management team to support their growth.
- Passionate about food and sharing that passion with others - including your team, your guests, and your managers!
- A guest-focused individual who is fiercely excited about delivering an outstanding guest experience at every opportunity.
