About Thunder
Thunder is a tech-enabled investment bank with a founder-first philosophy. We help growth-stage, founder-led technology companies navigate capital strategy — equity, debt, and M&A — by combining senior operator expertise with modern systems, automation, and AI.
Partners at Thunder are former founders, operators, and senior advisors. Our job as a firm is to maximize their leverage — giving them the infrastructure, workflows, and tools needed to focus on what matters most: relationships, strategy, and closing outcomes.
Thunder is an AI-first organization. We actively deploy modern AI tools, no-code automation, and CRM systems to replace manual work, increase reliability, and raise the operating standard of professional services.
The Role
We are hiring an AI-Driven Operations Associate — Partner Enablement to act as the operational backbone for our partner team.
This is not a client execution role and not a traditional admin role.
Your mission is to dramatically increase partner capacity by:
-
Running a clean operating cadence
-
Owning CRM and follow-up reliability
-
Automating repetitive work
-
Ensuring partners are always prepared, on-track, and supported
You’ll work directly with the Founder and partners, sitting at the intersection of operations, automation, and entrepreneurship. This role mirrors the internal enablement function that has historically driven Thunder’s partner productivity and deal velocity.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career (1–3 years of experience) who is highly organized, systems-minded, and excited by using AI and automation to scale human judgment.
What You’ll Own

-
Maintain high standards across calendars, task systems, and priorities
CRM, Systems & Automation (Core to the Role)
-
Own CRM hygiene, pipeline visibility, and follow-up reliability
-
Build and maintain automations using tools like Make.com, Zapier, Clickup, Hubsport, Fireflies, Slack and AI agents

Mindset & Culture Fit
This role is for someone who:
-
Enjoys building systems, not just following them
-
Has high agency and an entrepreneurial mindset
-
Wants exposure to founders, investors, and company builders
-
Is early in their career and exploring alternatives to traditional banking or consulting paths
-
Is curious, ambitious, and excited by modern ways of working
There is no direct partner track. However, Thunder invests heavily in developing talent. Team members who spend 3–4 years here gain rare exposure to entrepreneurship, capital strategy, and founder decision-making — including mentorship and long-term support for those who choose to build companies of their own.
Working Model & Benefits

Why This Role Is Different
You won’t be a cog in a machine.
You’ll help build the machine — using AI, automation, and smart systems — while learning directly from people who have built, exited, and invested in companies.
If you’re excited by leverage, systems, and modern operations — this role will stretch you in exactly the right ways.
