Responsibilities
- Conduct initial dental assessments
- Consult with dentists on patient care
- Instruct patients regarding oral hygiene
- Clean and stimulate the gums to prevent gum disease
- Apply fluoride treatment
- Remove stains and deposits from teeth
- Take, develop, and mount X-rays
Qualifications
- Education: College/CEGEP (required)
- Dental Hygienist licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body
- Will train for experience
- English language proficiency
