Thulecraft Ltd T/A Sandisons are looking for an experienced and motivated Joiner Foreperson to join our team based in Unst, Shetland. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career while enjoying the unique lifestyle and strong community that island living offers. Main Duties

  • Supervising and coordinating joinery teams on site
  • Managing day-to-day site operations and workflow
  • Planning and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard
  • Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
  • Liaising with management, subcontractors, and clients
  • Ordering and organising materials when required
  • Maintaining health & safety standards on site
  • Assisting with joinery work where necessary

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Proven experience in joinery and site supervision
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
